I was feeling very anxious/depressed this morning, again. I got home at around 3 and went straight to my bed. I was dozing off but not quite fully asleep. My mom and sisters kept coming in to check me and i'd open my eyes right away. I guess somehow that relaxed me because I was feeling a little bit okay for a while or maybe it wasn't because I slept. It's 7pm now and the anxiety/depression is building up again.

My mom told me she took Buspirone for anxiety and she still has it. I can already guess that it isn't a good idea but I'm desperate. I dont think my mom would agree but why would it be a bad idea to take medicine that isn't prescribed for me? Just a question.

You should get it prescribed for yourself. I have not taken buspar but I don't think it is fast acting. It is something you take every day and takes awhile to work. At least I think that is true. Better to get your own supply and see a pdoc.

I would not suggest doing it. Not to say that I haven't done it before. It is best to see your Dr. and get your own script. It does sound like you are having anxiety attacks. I sometimes get weak and shaky and my head feels funny if I don't eat right. I know that probably sounds to easy but it does make a difference.

I wouldn't do it. A doctor should to tell you what to take. I was prescribed Fluoxetin and a friend of mine with the same was prescribed paroxetina. The Dr should prescribed you.
