Douglas Bloch is a depression counselor & a depression survivor who uploads videos onto YouTube. In the video for which I have provided a link, Mr. Bloch asserts, as he states in the title, that it takes more than a pill to heal from depression. He reviews his multi-pronged healing approach.

If you watch this video, please comment. so much!

Thanks for the video. Very interesting. All of those things, we should be doing already.
Maybe you can find more about it and post some more links.

Hello, The Skeezyks. I agree with Dr. Bloch. My only quarrel with him is his use of the word "heal." For me, "remission" is the more appropriate term. Depression is an insidious affliction. What works now to ameliorate the symptoms of depression may not be as efficacious in the future. An alternative treatment plan may need to be implemented.

Thank you for sharing.

I subscribe to Douglas' YouTube channel so I have access to all of his videos. Is there anything in particular that is of interest? Thanks for the reply!

Interested to watch it along with the other you posted when I have time. I am worried I will forget the title of the threads to find them again. Healing Depression. What was the other one?

Thanks for asking Zinco. I've uploaded a number of these. Sometimes I have wondered if I'll get into trouble, here on PC, at some point for continuing to post YouTube videos here. I hope not. I think the other one you're probably thinking of is in the Depression Forum. I titled it: "Isolation". It is a YouTube video by Kati Morton. Hope you're having a great weekend!

I'll watch after my show is finished, but I think it's a mindset we need to see more of and highly approve of what I've read. Depression is far too complex to have a single, easy cure, and I think it can negatively affect sufferers when they wonder why just going on medication, or talking about their feelings, or getting a better job won't necessarily fix things.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
