Does depression really make you hurt everywhere? I seem to have pains everywhere and in turn it causes me to freak out and think something is happening to me causing a severe panic attack. Is there anything I can do to control it at least make it less severe till I am able to go see my therapist?

yes, depression does hurt.. but there are other things that can cause you to feel the way you do. I would suggest you check out the section on chronic pain for starters, to see if anyone else's story matches yours.

Also, I would keep a "pain journal" so you can track your symptoms in case you need to go see a doctor to find out whats going on. I found my widespread pain to be caused by fibromyalgia....

Good Luck! FaithisAlive

A "pain journal" doesn't sound like a bad idea.

I agree.
In just a few weeks, I have started a pain journal that was suggested by a friend and have found it fascinating so far. I try and log in on it everyday and write a few things, so that I can hopefully compare them later on.
Good luck to you,
Hugs,
Boopers
