there is hope. you had a lot hit you at once. that happened to me in the 80s and it did take me a couple of years to recover. losing two people that you love is really difficult.

do you have a therapist that you can talk to? a trusted friend?
there are a lot of good supportive people here who are always ready to listen and talk to you.

please keep me updated........xoxoxo pat

Hello and welcome to Psych central. There is hope really if you get the professional help needed to help you feel better. I have really severe depression and I function really well with taking medication and getting the therapy that I need to feel better. HONESTLY. There is mental health treatment in your county that can help you for low cost or no cost and there are med programs that can help you obtain your meds for free. The number for the Free Medicine Program is 1-800-921-0072 if you call this number you can ask them to send you an applicaiton to give your DR to fill out so that you can get the medication you need for low cost of FREE, so that you dont have to suffer from financial worryies in paying for your medicaiton. There is also a chat here at Psych Central and you can come and talk to someone if you would like to and that may help you to feel less alone. I am going to give you the hotline number to call if you need to talk to someone as well when you are depressed 1-800-273-TALK. You can feel better really if you just get the help you need. Also if you have questions you can PM DocJohn or Dr Wylie (psisci) here at Psych central. Take care Soidhonia
