For the first time, yesterday I forgot to take my SNRI. I'm on 120 mg. / day of the generic variety of Cymbalta. I didn't realize until this morning I had forgotten it. Last night I had an amazing array of dreams! It was like sitting in a movie theater that plays back-to-back movies all night long! I was featured in some of them. In others, I seemed to be merely an observer.

This morning, before I realized I hadn't taken my med yesterday, I was really dragging. I felt like I hadn't slept at all last night! I felt like the proverbial "wet dishrag". Once I realized I had missed my dosage yesterday, I just took my normal dosage for today & left it at that. Gradually I woke up & began to feel more like my normal self.

But... oh boy... the dreams I had last night! Now I'm thinking about not taking my dosage periodically so I can enjoy even more fun-filled movie nights!

Glad you had some entertainment I haven't been dreaming much recently, but for me that's a good thing. I only have three types of dreams that aren't out and out nightmares, being lost , teeth falling out and the "Can't Find the WC" dream . I can't remember ever having an entertaining dream, maybe that is why I create so many day dreams?

Sweet dreams .

That's interesting. I have crazy dreams all the time and I wish they'd go away, but not going to take meds for it!!

They say (and i agree!) that "cant find the W.C." dreams means you have to go IRL!! I hate those! I dream about endless girls locker rooms with missing seats or just plugged up with tp!

I have nightmares, weird dreams, and repetitive dreams about a receding seashoreline. Sometimes I have these weird dreams that I am being sucked out of my body and I am flying. Those dreams used to scare me but now I enjoy them. What kills me is when I dream about work.

Having said yesterday that I hadn't been dreaming much recently, I had a night full of dreams. They were of the frustration type, where silly things happen and the harder I tried to put things right, the more bogged down I became. Hmmm sounds just like being depressed.

In the dream, I went with someone I used to work with to collect their wedding dress, first we couldn't find the right shop and when we did, it wasn't a dress it was silk pyjamas. Everyone else was laughing at the bride but I kept trying to say nice things that came out wrong, so everyone was mocking me too. We then went for a meal that never arrived and we had to keep going into different rooms for the different courses. Everyone soon forgot about the wedding dress, except me, I was really worried about it, but everyone else just wanted me to do something about the food. Strangely, I wasn't hungry (I normally like my food) and I was peeved it was all down to me to sort things out.

So the dream seems very much to reflect the state of my life right now. It wasn't entertaining, just exhausting.
