I have been suffering untreatable depression for the last 8 months. I haven't been able to stay on an antidepressant even though I was on one for 11 years previously, which did clear up my depression.

Now I have nearly finished TMS (a new treatment for depression) and my mood is much better but my body seems to not want to cooperate. I have several lingering issues like, frequent urination, urinary urgency, back pain, bloating, pain on right flank, lightheaded, indigestion. None of these symptoms can be explained by my doctors...so I am wondering if this is part of my depression. Maybe I am not as well as I feel mentally? Is that possible?

I would get a physical to get things checked out if you have not done that already. Hope you figure this out.

Already had a whole lot of blood work and tests done, but thanks for the reply.

For the urinary tract problems I would ask your primary doc to refer you to a urologist. There could be something with the kidneys or bladder, but then they may have checked this out already. However, I am glad your mood has improved. Best wishes.
Thanks for this!

depression can effect a lot of physical things, but what you describe does not sound liek anythign I have heard ascribed to depression... I would second waterknob's suggestion of checking in with a urologist. my wife had similar symptoms with kidney stones (though I am not saying that is what is going on with you, just something to check out).

glad the tms seems to have worked. Hope this other stuff resolves also for you.

Thanks all for the replies but I've already been to two different urologists and they attribute it to over active bladder but I'm only 32. Maybe the antidepressant I was on for 11 years ruined my bladder. It did make me urinate frequently over the whole 11 years but not this much... It's much worse now that I'm off the antidepressant. I can take pills for my bladder or go to physical therapy but I'm more concerned about the other physical symptoms which my doctors have no explanation for. I've seen a primary care and multiple specialists... I've had two CT scans with no signs of gallbladder or kidney issues... So I figured maybe it was just my depression and anxiety.... But I have never felt like this before and I've had depression and anxiety for 11 years now.

Those are very physical problems never associated with depression.. I don't think from withdrawal either.

How did the TMS effect all the standard symptom of depression?

Well the TMS seems to have lifted my depression for the most part, but I have all this other stuff going on now. The only piece that seems like it's depression related is after I go out and do anything.. Like grocery shopping for example I get extremely tired and lightheaded. If I rest after I am fine again. It's really weird. Added to my laundry list of other issues I don't know what to think. Only thing I could think was depression still or maybe anxiety.
