What do you do when all you do is breathe, blink, and live depression? How can you see the ray of hope, when you're suffocated in blinding darkness?

I completely understand. Depression is like a being in a big black hole. The only thing that seems to help me is having halfway pleasant family and church obligations. Love and hugs to you.

I have been in that dark hole. The worst part was not knowing when it will end. I am gradually adding "tools" to my arsenal to fight depression. Basically, it is self care. I try to eat as healthy as I can afford. I go to therapy on a regular basis. I am gradually exercising more. I no longer deliberately have negative self talk.
It is not easy. I slip up. I have mood swings. I have days when I want to give up.
I hope some of this helps, F.M.

Thanks guys. It really does help. It can just be really difficult to keep fighting some days.

It really does... Some days are better than others. I hate this feeling of spiraling out of control.
