I am so frustrated & depressed w/ life & w/ myself. Seems like Britney is too. Apparently, she shaved her head b/c she was "tired of people touching her". Well, so am I. I'm furious. I'm sick & tired of people touching me, sick & tired of people hurting me & sick & tired of doing what others want me to do. Screw that.

I totally feel like shaving my head too. Maybe I just will. Or cut this mess of misery called "hair".

Sorry. This is a very angry post, but it's keeping me from hurting myself.

I heard that britany is having problems with drugs and she acted impulsively. she shaved her head and then immediately got tattoos. please think this through before you do anything you might regret.

Please rethink your ideas.... you've been hurt enough, why hurt yourself more out of anger? ((((hugs))))

Sorry Desy, Wish I could help. Don't know if I would jump off of the deep end like Brittany though.

((Deserado)) Shaving your head would only be continuing the pain and hurt you already feel. Try and be kind to yourself.

Yeah, I think Brit's at her breaking point, too.

Thank you for the post, Flinty.

How much are punching bags, if you don't mind me asking?

I'm glad this helps you.

Shaving ones head can be very freeing depending on the reason for doing it. I haven't a clue why Britney shaved hers. I shaved my head once and had no regrets about doing it. It was sheer relief at the time. I put away the hairdryer, hair gels, hair spray and my showers were shorter. After a while, I let it start growing back. And I'd do it again if I ever feel the need.

Yeah, Calm, I'm sure it was pretty liberating. I'm so sick of trying to fuss w/ my hair & myself, trying to look good for people..............wanting to please others...........and sick of trying so hard. I can definitely imagine a life w/o all the hair products, for sure.

I'm not there yet, but I certainly feel close......

If you could throw some major punches & kicks on my behalf, Tal, that would be fantastic.

Thanks.

I hope that things will be better for you soon. I know the frustrations of depression and life in general.

I hope that you will be able to find a constructive way to let out your frustrations.

Thinking of you.

desperado, hoping your mood has lifted some. Earlier in another post, I mentioned that I had shaved my head. That was the second time my head had been shaved bald. The first time was not of my choosing as it was necessary for the surgery that was performed. So, after having that surgery, I knew what to expect about looking bald, and it wasn't a shocker when I shaved it myself back in 2005. I don't know if you're still considering doing it, and I'm definitely not encouraging you in that direction. I only want you to know that seeing yourself bald for the first time can be a very strange experience.

Wishing you peace in spirit.

Thank you Boopers; thank you Calm. Those are very sweet posts.

No, I haven't shaved my head yet........but the thought is still there.................I am just extremely frustrated w/ my pathetic life right now. It's kind of like, I just don't care what happens to me anymore. I'm just fed up, so why not shave my head. I don't know how to explain it. I'm just a freak.

Anyway, thanks again & take care both of you.
