My husband just asked me for a major compromised. I thought about it and I weighed my options carefully and accepted that what his heart wanted was something our family could accept without compromising our core values.

I asked him for a small favor tonight: check my alignment on a yoga pose, he left me there for a full 15 minutes because he "needed to feed the dogs" they were not barking or whining. There was no apology just this is what I needed to do.

Am I out of my mind?

Hm-m-m... well... I would say your husband sounds a bit self-absorbed. How long would it have taken him to check your alignment... possibly a minute? So, no, Curupira, I don't think you're out of your mind. It seems as though the "give-&-take" here is pretty one-sided at the moment. Hopefully the two of you can talk through this so it does not become something that eats at you & continues to build up over time as additional incidents of this sort occur.
