Today the silence was broken by being told:
"why don't you go to work? You enjoy working crazy hours and it'll make everyone happier if you're not here. Life is simpler with you at work rather than home". And the silence continues.

Am sorry. That must really hurt. I sort of did that to my husband at one time. When my kids were babies I had them on a daily schedule. When he was home on the weekends, he messed that all up and I got in a bad mood. That was really wrong of me.
