Loneliness and depression. For me these two go hand in hand. I took a loneliness quiz today and I got a 33. Which basically is severe loneliness. I know they're not diagnostic tools, but it's answer was very true. The problem is I don't want to get out of my loneliness. I feel like that's my world. If I go out of my 'world' I lose control. It seems so scary to me. I've tried exercise and other stuff but they don't really work...Anybody else feel this way?
BTW just want to thank everyone on here for all the wonderful support! ![]() |

There's parts of me that would be perfectly content to be reclusive and withdrawn from the world. There's a loneliness test? I'm often learning as I go. :\

Hello, Browncurtains. Long-term depression (and anxiety) has greatly impaired my ability to feel either loneliness or belongingness.
![]() Consider taking that test periodically. Over time you might notice fluctuations.
