Scared in this deep and lonely place. Need sleep. Mind won't stop.

Are you still reeling from Katrina?I'm on the Northshore and I understand how all of this has affected us.What do you think is causing this?Post traumatic stress? Were you displaced for long?Did you lose everything?Katrina did a number on us all.I don't think the rest of the country understands that at all. Maybe you should move.I know Chalmette is still a wreck.Seeing that everyday may be part of the problem.Sometimes starting over fresh helps.

We got it bad.No real water damage but,4 trees on house.Went to Monroe for a while. That was horrible! A sweet girl named Mandie from "The Parish" works with me now.Did you get on the bandwagon with the suit against Murphy? I know it's still rough down there.I feel for ya'll.Get out and take a ride one day,go do something. You can't dwell on this. And I promise things will get better. They always do.This storm was more than anyone could have imagined.I'm from New Orleans born and raised and as I watched what was happening on Tv I thought all is lost. It's all gone.Maybe alot has changed, maybe we are forever changed, but that doesn't mean we can't move forward.I bet if you look around you you can find something or someone worth holding onto. And sometimes we have to let go.In this case we have to let go of Katrina. She's taken enough from us.
Lots of love Kay |

Thank ya'll for caring. I m here today. Stayed home from work today. I did settle with Murphy, but the didnt honor the contract. Only clened outside house. I had to do inside out of own pocket and will have to remove earth from around house after trailer is gone. Had benzene in side and outside of house. EPA and Murphy say i didnt have oil. But have pictures and video to prove it. I swept the strreet this morning. Murphy finally removed all the debris from house across the street. im going to be hangin close to here today. I feel safe and now someone is here. Fay I'm trying to have hope, but lost all faith in it. I will try to see good today. i promise. Hugs to all of you.
