So I had a piece of pumpkin pie from the Log Cabin resteraunt. Their pie crust has Crisco in it, and about two years ago the day after Christmas I had someones Christmas cookies and got sick the next morning, and my mom told me they might have crisco in it. Well, I'm really worried I'm gonna get sick now. I'm super terrified of getting sick. It never bothered me when I was a kid until now, and since I experienced it when I'm older now, it was traumitizing and now I'm super scared and terrified of it. I ate the majority of the pie at about 10:00 this morning. Am I in the clear?
Then I'm upset because my autistic brother was throwing a fit (He can't talk so it's just screaming and yelling like a banshee) and my dad has like no experience here with him whatsoever, and I just got fed up with and jumped up and slammed my phone down on the coffee table and shouted "THAT'S ENOUGH. THIS IS F***** RIDICULOUS, EAT D***T." And I walked away to my room and started crying all over again. I asked God to take me and take it all away. I'm pretty worried about the pie too... so today is just an awful day. |

I'm sorry you are having an awful day.
Are you certain it was the Crisco in the cookies that made you sick two years ago? How many cookies did you have back then? Today's pie crust: how does its volume compare to what you ate two years ago? Regarding your brother, there's nothing wrong in recognizing you have only so much tolerance for certain of his behaviors. As the situation permits, excuse yourself when necessary to "recuperate" and get some needed rest and peace. We all have our limits. May the rest of this day and week be easier for you. __________________ My dog mastered the "fetch" command. He would communicate he wanted something, and I would fetch it. Thanks. I decided to eat dinner and had a couple bites of pizza and French fries. I have a bad headache, an a little bit woozy, but a little better.

Hi ShantheArtist, it seems that if the pie was going to hurt you, like a severe food allergy, you may have noticed the effects by now. I am sorry you had a difficult day. Sometimes there is just so much we can handle. Hoping things are better tomorrow.
