Hi tink, welcome to PC and thanks for sharing what you're going through. Reaching out for help/support can be really hard, so good on you.
Depression can cause so many people to be/feel isolated physically or/and emotionally, and the complete lack of energy or even motivation to do anything..............still, there are going to be plenty of people on here who can understand/empathize with how you're feeling, so you're not alone.
Now if I can just ask you a couple of questions..............was there a trigger or contributing factors (not that there always needs to be), and are you getting help from anywhere e.g. a doctor or a T, or if not is there anything particular holding you back from this???
And you know the old you doesn't necessarily have to be lost...........maybe "just" buried under the way you're feeling right now.........and with the right help/support..............
And if we can be part of that...........well, here for you if you want to talk a bit more.
