After months of searching, I found a psychiatrist who can eval me in 2 weeks.

He is a university professor md, part of a university medical group. I had not considered this source earlier. I did drop the name of one of my other doctors who happens to be part of the same group. I need treatment. Asap.

That's great that you found someone that you could see so soon. Sometimes it takes months to get in. I'm really glad for you. Hope things get better.
