and I am there I am there I am there but I ain't much more. I am out of ideas in how to help a person that wants to end his/her life. I wanna be there for people...I WANT to.... I wanna be there for her.... I feel like I've heard "you do everything you can" so many times...well....apparently "everything I can" is not enough..

I once had a friend like that. All you have to do is tell them that you will always be there for them no matter what, and you have to prove it, too.

Your friend needs your unconditional love more than anything else at this time. Encourage this friend to seek professional help and counseling. If you think the person is in eminent danger, call a crisis line or find a way to get the person to the ER.
