After peeling off some of the layers of a long-lasting eating disorder, I was hit with a really strong vlast of anxiety and depression.... It was awful. It made me regret ever going for treatment ans whether recovery was even a good idea...

Now I am on medication (took MONTHS till I got to the right dose though- the pdoc I was seeing refused to treat me after I was having a hard time taljking to him one day... Hate that guy) I feel like a new person. - can function, things don't overwhelm me and hit me in the face like they used to... And today was awesome. I vollunteer for an organization that helps sick kids and their families and today was the huge event of the year... I am exhauseted but exhilarated! Having a cause that you help and work for and love makes a huge difference in your life. It was an incredible day.

I hope all of you have something that helps you keep going... What is it? I want to hear about more ideas!

Being a Community Liaison and helping others here is one of the things that keeps me going. My son, his wife and my grandchildren are the other reason.

My self is what keeps me going. life is not about rainbows and sunshine life is gonna hit you hard. Its not about how hard you get hit its about how hard you get hit and keep moving forward, how hard you can take and keep moving forward. that what makes a real character. many people see challenges in opportunities, but i an opportunity in every challenge. I dont run behind money i pursue happiness. This keeps me happy and people around me happy.
