It ruins my personal relationship, it ruins my studies. It ruins me. It's swallowed me whole.

How do I come back from it. How do I get control when it's the voices in my head that control me?

Are you getting any kind of treatment for it? Or any self help treatment? I know how hard the self help stuff is when it is swallowing you. This is not something we can do alone in my experience.

I am antipsychotics and see a CPN weekly. I really try my best, but it doesn't seem it to others when trying your best means you stay alive for the day

Is it even possible to get control of the voices. Not to put a damper on but I've never been successful with it.

They told me it will take a long time to learn but it's possible, I slightly don't believe this cause if you could control it in the first place it wouldn't happen?

I'm also in the UK I'm glad you're getting help.

I hope the professionals aren't saying or implying you aren't trying your best. If they are, quite frankly, they are wrong!

In peace,

Fuzzy

They do, my psychiatrist always is looking for a deeper meaning in my feelings. But i honestly don't have one. There is nothing more annoying than someone you have met once pretending to know you better than you know yourself.

Exactly! This is how I often feel, not only about pdocs but also docs and regular people

Makes you feel worse cause they don't believe you right?

They completely have the wrong approach.

So true about professionals who think they know everything about you and imply that you aren't trying hard enough.
I recently stopped going to see my psychologist, I found her sarcastic and cold, I was getting to the point where I felt much worse after seeing her. I started dreading the appointments that I would phone in saying I wasn't well.
