No matter what happens I always feel worthless. I'm so tired of it.

I'm sorry to hear that you are not in a good place right now, ajohnson.

It can take time to crawl out of the black hole that we sometimes fall into.

But at some stage you will.

Focus on doing one thing for yourself each day that would ordinarily have bought you pleasure, if you weren't depressed. Even if you don't feel like it. You need to somehow take care of you.

Be well.

See that is just the thing. I find everything I used to to back before I was depressed to be extremely boring now. I usually just play video games now.

I think that is one of the toughest things about depression... not enjoying the things you used to. It makes me feel like I've lost a huge part of myself. It makes me really sad knowing that at one point I could live a life enjoying the things that made me happy. When I think of those things or see or hear something that I used to enjoy, it is a huge trigger because it becomes so obvious what depression has done to me. Now, it seems more like having to survive and get through each day as best as I can. And that pretty much sucks.
