Well, I suppose you had your reasons, but you could lose your teeth. Teeth fall out if gums not healthy. Brushing in the approved way leads to healthy gums - I should know having gum disease for England and Wales at times. A dental hygienist will clear the plaque - they do it under local if necessary so it does not hurt much.

Hi jesusplay..........gum disease........infection............risks...........you know I really don't want to go in to all of that, you probably know it anyway............what I DO want to say is a massive WELL DONE cleaning your teeth today!!!!!!! Good on you!!!!!!!!!!
And that's not even that much about "cleaning them" but as much about managing to do it, breaking the hold the depression had on you to manage something you hadn't managed to do for so long. It may be something so simple/every-day to "others" but with depression even cleaning your teeth can be like e.g. climbing a mountain sometimes..........so GO YOU!!!!! And the taste thing..........sure the plaque on your palate is going to make a difference but with depression sometimes things can just taste "bland" anyway, right?? ![]() And finding any energy or motivation to wash up............seriously not "easy" for you, hey??!!! But maybe, just maybe a next goal could be washing up........you know food hygiene, risk of food poisoning and all of that????? Still, I don't want to take away from...........you managed to clean your teeth!!!!!! Good one, jesusplay!!!!!! A BIG step!!!!! ![]() Alison |
