My suicidal thoughts have been getting stronger lately and are starting to scare me. Luckily I think I am too chicken to act on them but I have been going over a plan in my head constantly. I see my pdoc today and hope I can tell him the truth.

Same here - since last week my suicidal ideation has turned more graphic. Just because these thoughts emerge doesn't mean you should act on them. I think fear is a good deterrent to keep us from doing something we regret, but your chances of following through with your thoughts increases if you don't receive help. I highly recommend telling the truth to your doctor.

The fact that the thoughts scare you is positive in its own way. How did it go with the pdoc?

He raised my Fetzima to 120mg and added Buspar again to help with anxiety. Still supposed to use Xanax as needed. He mentioned the possibility of a day program or inpatient if I can't keep myself safe and I have to see him again in 1 week.
