Is it really possible to change? Is it really possible to change for good, to never go back to the way you were? I just wish someone could fix me, a pill, a procedure that would just make me a totally different person.

The truth is that only you can cause the change that you want to see in you. You can truly change, if you hold yourself accountable, and really want your life to change. No matter how down you are feeling, please know that you are amazing and unique, and that no one can take your place, no matter what state of emotion you are in. I believe that you can do what you want in this world.

I believe you can change but that it's not easy. Start with little things and be consistent.
Feeling very discouraged and depressed tonight

It IS POSSIBLE to change and to completely resolve a serious depression. It does happen and you don't even have to become a different person. You do, however, I believe, have to really actively do it yourself. Thinking that a pill will solve your problem or that you have a chemical imbalance is a trap that will keep you stuck and passive. See the depression success stories section for examples.
