Another bad day today. I was doing so good for a while. Today I am trying to come up with reasons to live, reasons to keep on going. Then tomorrow I fear there will be more ugly attitudes I will have to deal with at work.

I'm sorry you are having a hard time. Remember it is them not you. Think about how insecure those other people must be to spend their days being so unpleasant. On the other hand you are kind and caring and strong, you are still here and still surviving despite everything. You only need one reason to live, it doesn't have to be a big, grand reason a little one will do just fine.

I totally undersatand that. Its motivation. You question your existence. I do that too. But my reason for existing is to be remebered, otherwise I'm afraid no one could have saved me from suicide. I hope you find a purpose you can strive for.

Hi waterknob, I'm sorry today was so hard for you
But maybe try to use that "you were doing so good for a while" as a bit of a positive?? You were doing so good, so that doesn't rule out you doing "so good" again.
It's just really good that you're reaching out for support now.........and maybe those "so good's"......can grow to be more frequent, last longer, and longer and longer and........in time.
Those people at work...........well let their attitudes remain their problems........if you can try looking past them as much as possible.......and take as much as possible from some of the parts of the job that are OK??
And as for reasons.........because you're you, because you're special, because you matter??!!
Although you can maybe think of some more too??!!
And don't forget we're here for you too!!

Alison

I had to go to work today to catch up on work that has fallen behind. I am so tired. Yesterday was so bad. I worked up to my maximum capacity and best ability. Still I got yelled at by four different bosses. I have had it. I heard one of the girls might be leaving to work somewhere else. I can't blame her. There is nothing but negativity in that office.

Hi waterknob, I'm really sorry that your efforts weren't valued the way they should have been. But going in today to catch up.......working to your maximum capacity and best ability.......I'M going to tell you REALLY GOOD JOB even if your bosses didn't!!!!
Now try to feel good that you've finished, try to feel proud of yourself, and have some much needed rest

And hopefully you've got something you want to do planned for tomorrow??? Try to make the most of your break, hey?? Whatever you decide to do. You've definitely deserved it!!!

And although Monday will come soon enough, the following weekend will be "just" some days away..........and hopefully that bit sooner till you find a job that really does value you.
And hey, you've got us to support you anytime you need as well!!

Alison

I am so thankful for such wonderful friends and the caring people who take away the bitterness of life, especially all of you here on pc. Thank you so much for your support, it means a lot. It is definitely time to look for a different job. Also, to calm my nerves I am going to pray and read my Bible. That always helps.

One approach I'm trying is accepting that I don't have so many good things in my life but I still have to make the best of it because not existing (or whatever else comes with death) would be even worse, at this point.

Aren't there any things that give you joy in life?

Hi Waterknob. I am in the same situation. I have to work 12 days before I get a weekend off. I am bored. I spend too much time sitting and doing little. I have no job benefits. Per week I work between 18 and 58 hours. I am so so so tired.
