My so called friends never seem to want to talk to me. When I try to talk to them they disspear offline. Been feeling alone and depressed since mom passed a few months ago. She seemed to be only friend. Dad tries but its just not the same.

I am so sorry for your loss. I hope things get better soon for you.
But what a strange reaction from your friends! Are you sure they don't talk to you like on purpose? That's just strange, specially if things were fine in the past. If I have a friend whose mom passes away recently, I would be supportive and give them help and attention so they don't feel left behind. Anyways, don't let that discourage you or put you down! Things will be alright soon. And you can find awesome people here who are amazing and supportive. Feel free to share your thoughts and feelings whenever you feel like it.

I am very sorry you are going through this, I have know idea what you must be going through in losing what I think is the single most important compass in my life. I know your mom was that to you, too, and with this loss comes so many layers of heartache.
Feeling alone right now is normal, but I think you should give your dad a chance because he is hurting too. One day at a time.

there are a bunch of people here, for you, who understand your pain. sometimes it's easier to talk to a stranger, because there is no social implication/suggestion of anything at all besides the unknown.

I know what it's like to lose a person, and subsequently feel the void within immediately after. the thing is, the second we look to fill that void with another person, is the second we let ourselves down. knowing you were born from your mother's womb, knowing a part of her spirit will always be with you, knowing you literally are a part of her will help sometimes.

you might never have the same connection you had with your mom, but don't fret, you will connect with something, or someone, and it will make you smile again.

hang in there.
