I think I'm going to stop taking my meds. I don't think they do anything. I feel as depressed as when I started them. I take 60 mg of cymbalta, 200 mg wellbutrin, 600 mg trileptal. I'm tired of taking them.

Hold on, don't do that! Some of those have dangerous side effects when stopped suddenly. You have to change meds. with your doctor's help. You didn't say how long you've been on them.

If these are your first meds, it may take some adjustment, but do it with your doctor's help, only.

Do you also see a therapist for talk therapy?

I just stopped mine but i only took a minimal amount due to hating drs.

I notice already I think, with your amount you need to have some help tapering and changing IMO.

good luck

It can be dangerous to stop these medications suddenly. They must be tapered off. These are very powerful chemicals that can have very specific effects on specific areas of the brain.

Perhaps you p doc can help you find something that is more effective for you.

Please call your pdoc and let them know how you feel. They can help modify your meds so you can find some relief. Please don't just give up and stop taking them. Take care.

Ok, I'll stay on them. I see my pdoc may 7th. I've been trying meds since November 06. Thought I would feel better by now. I see a T weekly. I have so many issues I overwhelm myself whenever I go. I just don't feel I'm solving anything. I have a hard time with balance. I'm all or nothing.
