What's going on with my appetite? How come I'm never hungry anymore? I don't feel full, and I don't feel hungry. The only reason I eat is at meal times because everyone else is eating. And even when I do eat it's barely anything. Yesterday I woke up and I felt light-headed and the room felt like it was spinning. I know it seems like a silly question, but what should I do? I would eat it's just that I'm not hungry. Any suggestions?
Why???

First, I wish I had that problem! Me, I sometimes think I eat too much.

Second, you are not alone. My sister has the same problem, she has to almost force herself to eat at times.

Third, I haven't the faintest clue, however it is mentioned in all the literature as a part of depression. I don't know if medication can help. I know there are some that will cause some people to eat more, but that is hardly a reason to take meds.

One thing that might help, and that I do for a lots of different things, is to set alarms. Just set an alarm to go off three times a day to remind you to eat something healthy and get into the habit. Hope this helps. . . . (((((hugs)))))

meeeeeeee too.

People have to force me to eat, it's the oddest thing because sometimes I won't. I get the low blood sugar and I crash. Hard. Have you gone to talk to your doctor? It could be depression, but it could be something else physically wrong. (I was just tested today because I fear I'm anemic due to bad eating habits - I didn't want to go, but my friends insisted. Will find out soon enough).

If you can't eat, try to drink some juice. It will help with the dizziness usually. Only a quick fix though.

You have to check it very quickly because it might be anorexia,a very serious disease, that must be a part of your depression.I had anorexia for some weeks and i was ready to crash.Talk to your doctor about it and, man, try to take vitamins. There are vitamines that aren't for adults only.
