Dont know how to change this feeling- med helps me a little, but still feel like a zombie most of the time. I wish there was a med/pill to fix this state of being associated with depression/mental suffering.. or maybe i dont even know what it is.

I know the feeling. There isn't any one pill that will "fix" you though, it's 10% of the work. When I feel like you describe (which is often, believe me :P) I like to remind myself this state isn't permanent and it can change. I can't personally give you answers, but there are way too many people who have climbed out of this for it to be permanent.

I wish I had good advice for you, I think I know how you feel though. Lately I have been wanting to try stopping my meds but every time I do even if I do it gradually it doesn't work out well.

There was a time in the beginning of my meds where I felt nothing.... No pain, no joy. Didn't care about things one way or another. It was very strange. But that was a long time ago. However my life now, emotions are so strong, I'd give almost anything to have a day of that numbness back.

Can you explain what you mean by feeling like a zombie ?
(for me: If I weren't able to sleep for two days, I feel like a zombie.) |

I can relate. I'm numb feeling most of the time. When I do smile, it's usually fake so others don't worry about me. I seem to have two modes these days ...numb and suffering. The numbness is preferred over the suffering but it still isn't good. I've just started my meds this week so not seeing any improvement yet.
