Hi everyone, its lelem135 complaining about my non-existant emotions. As many of you know, for the longest time, i have been emotionally devoid. However, I have been hanging on to the fact that when I graduate from high school, I will begin to feel again.
Sadly, as graduation approaches in less than five days I still feel nothing. Even when my parents tell me they are proud, I dont feel a thing. And in some cases, I become depressed when I think about graduation.

Please, someone tell, am I just nervous about graduating or have I finally gone off my rocker.

With graduating comes big changes - this is a big event - that has many challenges associated with it - it ok to not know what to feel...

Have you talked to anyone about this?

Might be a good idea - trusted friend - a parent?

I know how you feel because that's how I felt before I graduated. I also thought I would start to feel more excited as college approached, but that didn't happen either. I would suggest talking to your parents about how you feel because I wish I had done that now. You could get a therapist and find out what is wrong. You don't want to waste your life when you're still so young, and I'm only 22, but if I had started fixing myself at 18 I imagine I'd be so much better now.

It sounds like Asylum has been where you are Lem, and has a good idea about how to proceed.

I don't think graduation is going to offer you any magical solution. I wish it would.

Thank you all for your advice, and I will soon try to seek help, but until then, I am less than two days from graduation with no feelings at all.

Graduation in an event that end up that part of your life and is the beginning of another one. Maybe it gets you confuse because you don't really know in what direction to take. You will eventually know.

In the mean while " Congratulations"
