I am not usually one to adopt the "woe is me" attitude, but I cant seem to catch a freaking break lately, and I feel as if I am slipping deeper and deeper into this depression.

This past Sunday was the 1 year anniversary of my momma's death. I had no idea how much anxiety it would cause. This past Sunday was also the day my transmission went out while I was driving down the freeway... Leaving me with no money and no way to work And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Ugh.

I just want to sleep for a few months.

Hi Kaylord. You have had lots of trouble to deal with lately. The 1st anniversary of momma's death is painful and hard. All the memories come back to you. And of course you miss your momma. I remember going thru much the same thing when my momma passed away. Transmission going out on your car is hard. And that is expensive to fix, if it can be fixed. I hope you can get some kind of transportation.

Bless your heart, you are not complaining, you are just having too much stuff to deal with. I feel for you.

Thank you for the reply, Water.

I honestly had no idea how hard this would be. Her death was very unexpected, so I knew the grieving process would be much longer and very different, I was just not prepared for this amount of heart ache.

The stress of car situation I can handle. It's the fact that I cant call her to bit** about the stress that makes it even harder.

It's not bad to express negative emotions when your heart is hurting. In fact, it's very very necessary in order to ever begin to recover. I'm glad you wrote this down and posted it. I'm so sorry you're going through this right now, but I hope taking the time to tell someone else, even just us at PC, about your troubles has helped you a little bit.
