I'm really feeling discouraged. I've suffered from crippling depression for over 15yrs and I just don't see how I'm supposed to make any progress in such a short period of time (even if it is 8hrs a day).

Can anyone give me some before/after stories to sort of help me gauge what kind of progress I can expect? I know everyone is different, but I was just hoping to get some stories.

Thanks.

It feels like a short time, maybe its meant to be a kick start rather than finishing the job in two weeks? Sorry I have nothing more helpful to offer but maybe bumping your thread up the list might catch someone's eye. I feel for you so much, living with longstanding depression myself. What do you have to lose?

In my place we are there 6 weeks daily and then we go to 3 days a week, 6 hours a day. After that they do weekly, if the person wants it. During the partial, we get a therapist and psychiatrist, who we see once a week, but can see more often if needed. Like my T has called me in a couple times last week to talk about my behavior in group. I have only completed my first week. They say 6 weeks is the usual, but if insurance allows it, they will extend it if they need to.

Anyway, is the program just giving the 2 week option? Or do they allow you to dwindle down from that slowly? Is there another program you can go to?
