Doing school work sucks right now. I think I'm becoming depressed again

I don't have an answer for you...but I can totally relate...I am ALMOST finished with my masters degree...and I have ZERO motivation. Even wondered what would happen if I fail my last class (not required for graduation). I am severely depressed. Wish I knew the answer because then I could get through it too. I just can't focus on anything.

I think about my future in a realistic, positive way. For example, I am not fond of my current job but if I graduate college, I could get a better job with better benefits/pay. It may take some time but if I can be patience, something good will come my way. If I network with the right people, I can land me a decent job in my field. You just have to think positive about your future.

It's really really hard, but sometimes I just can't give myself the choice to do or not it's more a case of grit teeth and do it anyway. Whether you like it or not, each day will pass and school holidays will give you a break. Life goes on and somehow we get through.

I have to break things up into small tasks so that I'm not overwhelmed. I make a list of everything I need to accomplish and then break them down to doable tasks. I think it would work regarding studying as well. Good luck.

I also try to break things into smaller tasks. Also my pdoc recently put me on Adderall to help with concentration, energy, and motivation. I have been on it for only a few days. So far I have been able to read more than before and finish some tasks I really didn't want to do. Plus stay up later and participate in the household more.

I'm glad the Adderall is helping. I take Ritalin for the same reason but seems to have quit having as of an effect as it did in the beginning.

Sometimes I try to "Netflix with school on in the background." Obviously it won't be as intense or efficient work as you might get with no distractions, but when the thought of sitting down and working is too much for me emotionally, sometimes I can curb it by slowly getting back to work and binge watching things at the same time.
