Hi friends.

I'm feeling very sad and lonely.

I just want a hug and someone to say "everythings gonna be alright".

Do you feel the same like me?

Thanks

I do. I feel the same. I think many here are feeling that way. The symptoms of depression may change but most of us here are chronically depressed. I can't imaging hanging around these forums when you do not have this condition. We all know there is no cure. If something works for someone and they get out of depression then I say good for you.

I have experienced depression for a long time. I have felt more lonely than I do now but I feel very sad. I have experienced a lot of pain and failure.

If you were here now I would give you a big, long hug.

I'm feeling like that today, too. Not sure how to fix it through.
But I'm sending you a hug. I hope it helps.

Hello Lika
To answer your question - quite often.
I've bugged Fuzzybear (and others) for hugs quite often and shamelessly at that. I tend to nag if one of the replies to my post by Fuzzy do not include at least one hug.

Even if the hugs are virtual, to me a hug means reassurance, comfort, safety, lending and receiving strength from the other as need may be. It means I am not alone in this world that someone somewhere wants to understand, to help me shoulder my burdens and that is more than enough. It might only be a placebo effect but a much needed and a very welcome one.

Ask and you shall receive

I'm here and I'm listening. You are not alone in this. Everything is going to be alright, eventually.

Hope you feel better.
