Any tricks? I know the less I do, the less I want to do. But geez the mornings are awful...A lot of times if I stay up all night it will give me a jump start and the depression goes away...but gee I cant stay awake or even keep moving for very long right now...as soon as school ended...kablam..started sleeping more and well here i am, eating hummus in front of pc in my sweatpants.

What gets you moving, especially in the morning???

Sleep 8-10 hours a night, keep a good diurnal rhythm. If you can't sleep, get some chill pills. A good nights sleep is often the key to getting succesfully up in the morning (for me at least).

Edit: If you are depressed, this is harder contra if you felt normal. :-/

Theres no doubt that a lack of sound sleep can increase depressive episodes.....lived it.
Try to exersize, get out in the fresh air,and try to gain a pattern for bedtimes and wake ups.
In my experience the worse my depression is the more disturbed my sleep is.I need at least 8 hrs sleep.....but on weekends I sleep 10-11hrs......I blame my depession on this as well.
Try those tips.
Hope it helps.

Buy a cat or dog or other animal - they have needs - they will get you up. My cat presses his wet nose against mine until I wake up...

Only thing that came to mind...
