oh, bugger! why, why did i get a dang windows vista? sheeesh. it's a big jump from windows xl to vista. what is microsoft doing??? it's a good software, but sheesh it weird stuff on me. like last night, i was transferring files into my memory card to put into another computer. man, i thought i lost all those files. but, when i finally transferred into the other computer - mesto presto, they're all there. gosh, i don't know what in the heck i'm doing. trying to learn something simple and all that gets my gasket jumping out of my head. heh, just yesterday i got this message that i could only post 5 messages in the forum in 24 hours. gosh, i'm so confused because it's so limiting, you know. sorry for the vent. can't wait to get my meds sorted out (it is being sorted out, but it takes time). stupid side effects when i'm educated to the level of a scientist! oh man, i have way too much cobwebs up in my head. it's making me mentally scream my head off because it's driving me insane with all this confusion that i have. craaaaaaaaaaaap!

Hi, wickedwings. Ah, yes, Vista. I don't plan on working with that for a bit. My husband put it on his machine so I've been following his trials and tribulations with it too (and he's a programmer). I'm not doing the new Office either anytime soon, with its "ribbon" instead of menus.

Hope your meds get straightened out soon and you don't get any more nasty surprises this week :-)

craaaaaaaaaaaap! oh, yeah. i got pretty boneheaded from the medication and poured melted candlewax down the kitchen sink drain. duh! i actually knew better than to do that. lol. i was dumping the wax to use the container for other uses. all that wax didn't evaporate when i used it up with the candle warmer. it's a good-sized one, too. so, i've clogged up the drain pretty good. my hubby will fix it. kinda funny, huh? i'm just laughing at myself right now because it's the most ridiculous thing i've done so far. what can i say? gotta do something boneheaded while you're human, right? lol. whatever. yeah, windows vista is weird. thanks for telling me about the ribbons instead of the menu bar on the office word. i have no clue what the heck ribbon is like, but that tells me they've done the same to the software. no, i don't have the current word and don't plan getting anytime soon. i'm happy with the previous version anyway, so my hubby is going to install what we have from our previous computer. hehe.
