I think it's terribly cruel: You begin to see what life could feel like with out depression- Then you get hit with it's crushing weight. I no longer know if the brief periods of sunshine are worth it. It makes the dark times seem even worse.

Living with depression does have ups and downs. Just as all of life does, I'm afraid.
