OMG. i really feel horrible. everytime i do something, i burn out and get really sick. and, it's getting worse! i don't think the docs will be able to figure this one out because there's no way to tell if it's depression, side effects from cymbalta, or if there's something else really wrong with me. i'm a very complicated case with treatment-resistance. although, i'm seeing my pdoc in a week, i'm not feeling too hopeful about this because i feel really horrible. so much physical complaints that i'm not sure where all these are coming from. sorry for raining on your parade, but i really don't know what to do. i can't think straight. so much fog and confusion. am i fogged or delirius? i honestly have no clue. i'm starting to freak out because docs are not able to figure this out. ugh. i hate being a medical mystery. been one for awhile and don't wish to go back there again. it was so terrifying. i feel like someone clubbed me in the head.

How long have you been on cymbalta? I think generally can't they tell if it would be a side effect from a medicine in the beginning? I don't know though. Physical illness can come from depression, too, though. I'm not sure what to suggest. Maybe make sure you are eating and sleeping in healthy ways.. if you mess those two things up, they can mess up your physical health too. I hope you start feeling better and that your doctor has a good solution

That sounds frustrating...
Have you ever been inpatient so they can observe all that is going on? __________________ Direction Ripple Effect - Small things can make a difference |

Almost any mentally disturbed person feels a unique case. I hope you can get some answer from the docs. You should ask them clearly to start ruling out possiblities at least...
Obviously being assertive in your conditions can be impossible. Next time you meet the doc make sure you are with someone who will ask the right questions. It seems to me very hard that a simple SNRI like Cymbalta can knock you down like that. Our mind, at the opposite, can produce ANY symptom. The best of luck |

I hope you get some answers from your pdoc. Sometimes it takes a while to find a combo that works.

if the fogging started about the time you started the cymbalta that could very well be the problem. sometimes finding the right meds can be difficult. be sure to discuss all your symptoms and when they began with you doctor. could be key to eliminating and diagnosing. being on the wrong meds can do outrageous things to our minds. i've been there and done that so i know from experience. good luck.
