![]() ![]() Hi Ashleyramirez, I'm sorry your Mom is suffering from depression. It's really hard when someone you love and depend on is depressed. I don't know how old you are. I live with depression but do not have children so I'm no expert. Often the best thing to do is to be as normal as possible with someone, but understand that simple things may be hard to remember to do. If you are at school, I suggest you speak to a counsellor about it. There may be support available for Young carers in your area. Remember, if you are a young person, your Mom's health is not your responsibility or your fault, but it is fantastic that you want to help her. There is a forum here for partners and caregivers where people might know what you're going through and be able to advise. If you are a teen, there is a forum for teens who want adult support which might be helpful. I think you are wonderful trying to help your Mom, good luck and I hope she feels better soon. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Before I flood you with information overload, tell me more about your mom. If you can be specific as possible, my answer to your question would be more accurate instead of a generic answer. Hope to hear from you.
