Oftentimes people say your childhood had an effect on you and they usually mean negative effect. Here is an article that describes how our childhood emotional neglect made us stronger and more resilient.
The 5 Uncommon Strengths of the Emotionally Neglected | Childhood Emotional Neglect

Tonight in Depression Support Chat, Thursday 9PM EST, (need 5 posts or more if you are new here so go ahead and start posting or replying to others) we will use this article as a jumping off point to see what strengths we have acquired from our seemingly troubled pasts. Come on down to the Depression Support Chat no matter what your diagnosis is. See how you may be stronger than you think.

Hope to see you in the chat tonight 9PM EST.
