I'm so tired of hurting inside.... and yet when i fight the pain all i have is this aching numbness. I want to cry.. but i'm afraid i'll shatter in to a million tiny pieces.

I find that while most people think depression means we are "sad" in fact it is more of a numbness and then pain from the numbness. Sometime I would relish the opportunity to feel "sad" because it would mean I could feel again.

gultier this is a safe place if you want to cry. I don't know what your physical surrounding is like but at least it is safe to express your thoughts and your pain here. We understand.
