After feeling extremely down about turning another year older, I had the most amazing talk with an old friend of mine. We spoke for hours and I really opened up to her. I can't express how important this was for me and that night I felt like my brain had been shaken up.
This weekend, my friends have made a huge fuss of me for my birthday which was completely unexpected. Had I known in advance what was planned I would have refused point blank. I've had my nails done for the first time ever, decided to go all out and change my hair entirely and been out socialising but only did what I wanted to do and didn't put any pressure on myself to stay out late. I felt extremely loved and appreciated and it has been exactly what I needed. Today I have come back down a bit, but just knowing that the people around me really do want to support me when I thought they didn't makes life a lot more bearable. If you can find the right person to talk to, it can make a whole world of difference. Don't give up xxxx Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk |

I'm so glad you had a great weekend. Happy birthday, by the way. It was great of your friends to help you celebrate.

I'm so glad you had a good weekend with good friends. I hope you can rehearse that memory enough so you can still access it when the doubts come crowding in, then you will remember the truth. Good luck and happy birthday!
