I'm realizing today, that life is not something that just gets "better and better." I know it's good to strive for..but it's not like a movie, where there's a beginning, complicated middle, and triumphant and neatly resolved end. Life to me, is like a garden, that I am always tending to. Sometimes I need to be very gentle with myself, like now. Other times, I need other things. There's good weather, bad weather, bugs, negatives and positives, and we are constantly tending to what we need. I was feeling terribly, earlier, and this helped.
