i say diffrent, because, humans are kind of animals anyway (we're come from from something or rather, don't know what). but i know we're related to animals

this all started yesterday when i was in 1 of my silly moods.. walking about my room singing a really daft song- i wish i was a puppy, if i was a puppy i could be stroked and go for walks and run around and play

i wish i was a kitty, then i could go hunting and sit under the table

i wish i was a silvery fish, floating gracefully through the water

and then the reality of what i'd said actually hit me.. it would be easier to live life as something like a dog or cat, because they don't feel depression- or shame when they cut themselves, or any type of guilt, or suicidal feelings, anxiety, nothing like that

i think i should have been a diffrent type of animal- a happier animal like a dog or cat, just running around with no worries enjoying life

(i don't expect a response, i'm thinking out loud)

I would want to be either a dolphin or an eagle. If I was an eagle I could lazily float on the air currents and just enjoy the ride.
If I was a dolphin I could play in the ocean waves all day long every day. Playing in the surf.....

My dog has generalized anxiety disorder. She takes prozac and trazodone. anxiety in dogs manifests in really strange ways, but i have no doubt she was suffering before I learned how to help her. I think since we are all animals we can all have our brain chemistry messed up, but maybe other animals aren't aware of it the same way we are. Idk tho. I would still rather be anything but a human.

I would like to be a Honey Badger, the meanest, most bad-a**ed animal on the Grasslands.

I always wanted to be a cat! Then again that was probably my depressive side coming out. All cats do is sleep and eat and sleep a bit more. Occasionally get fuss from humans when they fancy it. That kind of life suits me just fine.
Thanks for this!

Sometimes I wish I can trade places with my dog for a while. She has it made. She's totally spoiled and loved unconditionally!

Dog meds are mostly the same as human meds. She took acepromazine after her surgery and that was a specific pet Med, but the others are the same meds just different doses. I have PRN ativan for her and she takes 9mg at a time! It's nuts. She's really doing well with the prozac 😃
