Are there any book out there that deal specifically with this subject?

I've seen lots of books for people suffering from depression themselves, but I can't find any for their families.

I did some searching and found some kids' picture books on the subject, not sure those for older or adult children.

Would be a great idea actually, there must be something out there like this. I'd also greatly appreciate any suggestions to check out!

It does seem to be a relatively underaddressed topic, literature-wise, but this looks decent (and is available from OpenLibrary), covering aspects of the topic from an essentially non-clinical perspective (or at least not written with practitioners only in mind):
Hand-me-down blues : overcoming depression in families
by Michael D. Yapko, Ph.D.

There are a few others listed for the topic of children of depressed persons; you might also try looking at those listed under family therapy. Good luck!
