Been taking 60 mg Prozac for 6 months. Depressed 30 years. 60 mg not working at all. How can I change without withdrawal symptoms and what to please? In UK.

Hi - are you seeing a doc? I would think that after 6 months it would be time to try a different dosage or another Med. Sorry to hear you've had it for so long! I know the feeling all too well...

Ps I'm not sure what meds you've already been on so can't really advise.

I guess the best advice is to return to your GP/psychiatrist and ask them? Or if they are no good, please do change to a competent doctor.

Keep posting
