I was supposed to edit some documents this morning, but I just can't. The depression is killing me. I have to go on a week-long work trip in a couple of weeks and I just don't know how I am going to survive. How am I supposed to be around a crowd of non-depressed people for an entire week?

I feel your pain. I can hardly focus at work right now.
In 3 weeks, I'm going on vacation to Europe for 10 days with a friend and I'm starting to worry that my fatigue (that keeps coming and going) will ruin my vacation. I wish I had some good advice to give you but unfortunately, I don't. All I can say is hang in there! I did recover from severe depression several years back. Unfortunately, difficult circumstances have caused me to relapse. |

Thanks for the replies. I'm sorry that your depression is back Fuzzybear. I recovered from a deep, debilitating depression some years ago, but have been on shaky ground for the past few months. I suppose if we recovered once, we can do it again.

Don't give up. I downloaded an app on my phone, called Pocket CBT and have been using it for the last 2 days. It's Cognitive Behavior Therapy in an app. It challenges what I'm thinking which is usually something gloomy or a difficult situation I have no control over that I'm dealing with. It's really helping me and I feel hopeful now.
