Hi all. I have a question and I hope I can get a response. Does anyone else ever feel that their medication is just not cutting it anymore? I'm on Cymbalta and abilifi right now and it's keeping my depression and anxiety manageable but I still feel there's something underlying and I don't like it. I just feel like I'm not where I should be.

I look at my medication not so much as trying to feel right as I do the consideration of not feeling wrong.

Hi. Thanks for replying. And you do have a valid point my friend. I never thought of it that way before.

Mine right now are working fine but in the past I've been on meds that quit working after a while.

Hi. Yeah, I read that about some medications. Your body builds up somewhat of a tolerance to them. Thanks for replying.

Is there room for the doses of your current meds to be increased? Perhaps as it is somewhat helping you and increased dose will get rid of that underlying feeling?
I have been on a lot of different meds over the last 5 years or so with not much luck at all. Or some that did work, but then just gave up. Just had blood tests done today to start me on lithium... Maybe that will be the wonder drug for me.. |
