Yes depression is not new to me! But I have always been able to feel something. My health continues to fail. My kids except one have all grown and gone away! I have no one close by who understands the day to day struggles that I go through with my Anhedonia the lost of feeling for everything. Just a lost soul getting ready for surgery next week and the week after. Colonoscopy and endo next week, the following week, Lap for adhesions, hernia and exploratory. Happy Happy Joy Joy!

I hear you. It is really rough finding a safe and hopeful haven. Hopefully you can make a solid connection on this sight. It is a great big step for you to care enough to join this site, be proud of yourself.

Anhedonia.  I think it one of the worst manifestations of depression.

Hi Marguritte. Wow, you do have enough struggles going on physically to weigh you down emotionally. I will keep you in my prayers and I hope all goes well with your medical procedures.
My mother's name was Marguerite. She was the best mom in the world. She passed away Sept 16, 2009. For some reason I have been thinking of her all day. |
