As I sit here watching Annie (the original) and remembering how much it makes me cry, I was thinking...what other movies bring out our emotions from nowhere? It's a movie, I shouldn't be bawling like a baby!

I find movies a safe way to trigger emotions and I feel good afterward.

Movies that I find emotionally satisfying include Contact, Akira, The Lion King, Star Wars, Forbidden Planet.

The movie Creation. About Charles Darwin. He writes a letter to his wife explaining his loss of faith. It shakes me.

It's been quite a few years but I think I saw that movie during a science class I was taking.

The last movie I remember making me sob was Brokeback Mountain. So, so sad.
