I have been depressed for weeks, staying up till 5am, waking up whenever, often in the afternoon. I don't have any motivation for anything really. Thoughts?

![]() So do you have a general problem with your sleep rhythm? Or is it rather that you tend to have more of a lack of motivation/worse depression in the morning? For me, the latter one would apply... My mood is awful til about 2pm in the afternoon, from there on it slightly improves til the evening... about 7pm in the evenig I'm slowly feeling a little motivation and inner drive to do things and could stay up til 2am in the night... I don't really know how this is to be explained, but I read about it in the context of depression. Maybe it could help you to schedule your day in some way? Making appointments or planning to meet up with a friend of yours at a specific time? |

Yes, i need something to wake up for. I think i might have sleep apnea as well.

I still can't be bothered doing anything. I haven't shaven for a few weeks now. No meditation, i shower like once a week.

i know how you feel i have been in the same boat for a long time im just starting to get better again thanks to working out
