I'm feeling so tired from the depression. I need to sleep all the time.
Do you find it is better just to nap, or to force yourself to stay awake even when tired? |

The Skeezyks pretty-much keeps himself busy (a lot of the time here on PC)

I nap on the days I am not working. Naps replenish me, though I know this is not true for everyone. I get so profoundly fatigued otherwise. Coffee barely helps. When I am working, I just feel less-than, and stupid, until I can go to bed. The fatigue seems to trigger even deeper depression, and it is a vicious cycle.

I too nap a lot on days I'm off work. I have ambitions to accomplish things around my house, or to maybe exercise. I make myself a list, and sometimes I might get one two things on the list accomplished, other times I get nothing accomplished and I feel like a failure. I work three twelve hour shifts as a nurse, and am so tired when I get off work. My depression seems worse since surviving breast cancer two years ago.

I went through a really rough patch a couple of weeks ago where I stayed in bed for a week! It's tough to get going again but I found that once I got up and showered I felt better and was able to go on about my day. I was still tired and fatigued but I felt better getting up. Just my experience..hugs

Lately it seems like I wake up feeling crappier after a nap so I probably should stop taking them, but I don't.
